Mythology Agency is pleased to announce Jesu’s first-ever performance in Bulgaria: an exclusive evening of crushing heaviness, dark beauty and profound emotional intensity at Mixtape 5.
“Jesu” was the closing track on Godflesh’s Hymns, foreshadowing the band’s first dissolution and providing the starting point for Justin K Broadrick’s next musical chapter.
Jesu would develop into a singular fusion of crushing sludge and drone metal, shoegaze, post-rock and electronics—often setting immense weight and distortion against moments of striking beauty and melancholy. Broadrick’s layered production, unmistakable guitar work and sparse, atmospheric percussion create music that can feel emotionally overwhelming, brutally raw and achingly beautiful in equal measure.
For this exclusive first appearance in Bulgaria, Jesu will deliver a darkly lyrical and devastatingly heavy live performance: a dense, emotionally distorted journey through melancholy, despair and beauty, reaching deep into the furthest corners of the human soul.
BORN ERASED
Born Erased is the solo project of Bulgarian experimental underground artist Angel Simitchiev.
The project combines dark atmospheric electronics, drone textures and cinematic soundscapes with influences drawn from extreme music, including shoegaze and doom metal. Simitchiev is a well-established figure within Bulgaria’s underground scene, known as a co-founder of the independent label Amek Collective and as the artist behind the electronic projects Mytrip and Dayin.
Born Erased’s sound brings together heavily amplified synthesisers, industrial field recordings and layers of deformed guitar textures. The project’s debut album was released in late 2023 through French label BLWBCK, followed by Birds Drink My Blood, released on 4 December 2025 by the acclaimed ambient and industrial label Cyclic Law.
Characterised by its intensity, repetition and enveloping darkness, the music of Born Erased demands the listener’s full attention. It reflects upon the brutal beauty of nature—its ceaseless movement, internal hierarchies and the invisible forces that shape it.
The compositions continually turn inward, placing electronic sound at the centre of the artist’s expression. Moving between stillness and overwhelming intensity, Born Erased inhabits a space in which fragile motifs and concealed power exist side by side.

All events at Mixtape 5 are strictly for attendees aged 18 and over unless the event is specifically advertised as ALL AGES.
Anyone under the age of 18 may attend an 18+ event only when accompanied by an adult who holds notarised written authorisation. Declarations without a notary’s stamp will not be accepted as legally valid.
The only exception is where the person under 18 is accompanied by their parent. In that case, identification documents or a copy of the attendee’s birth certificate must be presented.
