Founded in 1997 simultaneously with his own label Hospital Productions, Prurient collaged and assembled concrete and unpredictable existential feedback landscapes with sadomasochistic vocals ranging from whispers to screams over hundreds of underground cassettes and limited vinyls that aroused a cult collector following. After taking high frequencies and vocals to a maximum conclusion across hundreds of shows between Europe and the USA, Prurient arrived at a violent mix of drone, noise, industrial, electronic and computer music beginning with "Pleasure Ground" and culminating in "Frozen Niagara Falls,”. The following period consisting of “Casablanca Flamethrower” for Tesco, “Rainbow Mirror” and “Creationist: Son Of Sam Of Mice And Men” saw the rebellion between fiction and history under the subconscious spirit Fernow now calls Doom Electronics.
